Jonathan Bond was handed his shakers debut at Griffin Park as the Shakers went to London in search of another positive result.Unbeaten in three, Bury set about Brentford" target="_blank">Brentford","height=600, width=800,scrollbars=1,resizable=1,status=1,toolbar=1,location=1");return false;">Brentford" target="_blank">Brentford looking to make it unbeaten in four.Lenell John-Lewis also returned to the starting eleven after recovering from a 6cm tear in his groin.

Lenell John-Lewis almost caught the home side out with a curling effort on five minutes, but the effort lacked the usual power and keeper Richard Lee easily held the effort. Clinton Morrison continued to worry the Shakers defence and another effort on 13 minutes saw him shoot just wide of the target.

Good movement from Giles Coke on 15 minutes produced the first Bury corner of the afternoon, the ball eventually fell to Schumacher on the edge of the box, his ball back to Sweeney brought more good close control before his second delivery was again pushed away for another Bury corner.The second corner though was taken short with David Worrall being flagged offside.

A Schumacher free kick on 18 minutes was wasted with an excellent delivery, but nobody challenging in the box, allowing the ball to drift out for a goal kick.Coke again continued to show his prowess in the middle of the park, though he took two attempts to eventually find Bishop, his quick ball found a charging Peter Sweeney but his effort was blocked and cleared by the Brentford" target="_blank">Brentford","height=600, width=800,scrollbars=1,resizable=1,status=1,toolbar=1,location=1");return false;">Brentford" target="_blank">Brentford defence.

Bury began to grow into the game and good work from Andy Bishop saw his first time ball fall to David Worrall, but his effort across the box saw a busy home defence clear.Brentford" target="_blank">Brentford showed their teeth on 24 minutes' when Diagouraga showed extreme pace in cutting into the box, but his effort flashed into the side netting.Another Bury corner on the half hour saw Schumacher's delivery cleared to John-Lewis; his cross come shot though was left by the home side and allowed to roll out for a goal kick.

Shakers got the second half underway but quickly lost possession through a Harlee Dean challenge on Coke.A Schumacher late challenge soon after brought a yellow card from the referee for his challenge on Jonathan Douglas.With the Brentford" target="_blank">Brentford","height=600, width=800,scrollbars=1,resizable=1,status=1,toolbar=1,location=1");return false;">Brentford" target="_blank">Brentford players suggesting it should be a red card, the production of a yellow card brought some anger from the home fans.

A Bury free kick some 12 minutes into the second half saw Peter Sweeney's delivery easily cleared by Diagouraga.A foul by Sweeney brought another free kick soon after, but Worrall was also felled off the ball but this was unseen by the official.The delivery into the Bury box again saw Clarke head clear with another excellent performance from the on loan Huddersfield defender.

Shaleum Logan got himself into the referee's notebook on 17 minutes following a blatant foul on David Worrall.Schumacher's delivery found the head of Clinton Morrison who bizarrely headed towards his own goal, but keeper Richard Lee held onto the ball.

Sam Saunders made it 2-0 on 63 minutes with another long range effort that flew into the bottom corner.With keeper Bond unsighted, the Bee's doubled their advantage.

A third goal came minutes later with Joe Skarz caught in possession, a quick ball into the box for a one-two saw Logan whip the ball into the corner to make it 3-0

Shaun Harrad was introduced soon after, replacing Lenell John-Lewis.

A long ball forward caught Efe Sodje unaware and with Saunders looking for a hat trick, Nathan Clarke zipped across to quickly poke the ball clear and away for another Bee's corner.Marcus Been eventually saw the ball drop at his feet but his shot flew harmlessly over the stand.

Nathan Clarke was the next player into the referee's notebook following a challenge on Clayton Donaldson.Sam Saunders took the free kick but Clarke hacked the ball clear and away for another corner following McGinn's shot on goal.

A Joe Skarz cross with five minutes to go found the head of Shaun Harrad, but his effort flew wide of the mark.A Bury corner soon after saw Schumacher deliver the ball into the box, Nathan Clarke got his head to the ball but saw his effort cleared off the line before Harrad was given offside.

Shaun Harrad had the best opportunity of the afternoon in the dying seconds after he was released through and with only the keeper to beat, he somehow poked the ball wide of the target and out for a goal kick.
