Bury's final home game of the season ended with a largely uneventful match for both sides, despite Bury being inches from taking the lead in the opening minute.
David Worrall took the ball around Bradley Diallo before crossing to Shaun Harrad as he waited in front of goal, but he somehow scuffed the ball wide.
Seven minutes of second half injury time were added on following Youssouf M'Changama's medical treatment on the pitch, but they proved fruitless for either side.
Bury had a golden chance to take the lead within the first minute - David Worrall made the most of an unsteady Bradley Diallo and took the ball around him before crossing in front of goal for Shaun Harrad, but he somehow put it wide of the far post.
The majority of the first half saw both sides try and stamp their authority on the match after a spritely start for the Shakers.
Bradley Diallo seemed to be continually pushing and pulling at Worrall on the right, and the pair had a confrontation with ten minutes of the half remaining.
One minute of added time was indicated by the fourth official, but it was soon over. Bury went into the break knowing they should have taken the lead early on and would need to capitalise on their chances in the second half.
