Five players leave the JD Stadium on mutual grounds
Marlon Jackson, Gareth Roberts, Jessy Reindorf, Euan Holden and Shaun Harrad have all departed the JD Stadium for the final time after all five players agreed to cancel their contracts with the club.
Marlon Jackson arrived at the club over the summer on a free transfer after leaving Hereford United at the end of last season. During his time with Bury he made nine appearances, scoring 1 goal. His lack of first team action also brought a further six appearances on loan at Lincoln City.
Gareth Roberts was the first player to arrive in the summer after being released by Derby County last season. Gareth started 13 games for the Shakers.
Jessy Reindorf was another addition over the summer, one of many trialists, Jessy arrived from Belgium side Union Royale Namur. Jessy made five appearances, scoring twice.
Euan Holden arrived at Gigg Lane last season and spent a large amount of time on non-contract terms. Despite being at the club for just under 12 months, Euan made just six appearances for the Shakers.
Shaun Harrad joined Bury on transfer deadline day in August 2011 after the Shakers paid an undisclosed fee for his services from Northampton Town. Shaun also had two loan spells at Rotherham United and Cheltenham Town during his time with the club.
All five players leave with our thanks for their time with us and our best wishes for the future.
