Over the next few weeks the events just keep coming at Bury FC, so we have decided to collate them all together for your convenience! The club IS the fans, and YOUR continued loyal support is vital over the next few weeks to make these events the success that they deserve to be!
To thank each and every person for making these events possible would be impossible, but the club would like to convey a massive 'THANK YOU' to Dave Giffard, Neville Neville, and Ben Miles, for their hard work in organizing their respective events.
Thursday 22nd to Saturday 24th April; Forever Bury Beer Festival. This is the 6th one that the trust have organised, with the previous 5 having raised over £47,000.00 and last year's festival setting a new record total of £11,182.00. Former Shakers striker David Nugent has once again come on board to act as one of the main sponsors. Ex Bury FC Captain & current Forever Bury President Chris Lucketti along with former goalkeeper Paddy Kenny are both sponsoring beers and it's hoped that they all manage to get down to help with the celebrations. A host of other companies and individuals have also come on board as sponsors.
Opening times are noon until 11.30pm each day with some excellent entertainment lined up for each evening session. There will be 42 beers on offer, some of which are being brewed especially, and all at just £2 a pint. Several specially brewed beers will be on offer including "Bury FC Anniversary Ale"; "Shakers 125 Lager"; "Gigg Ale"; "6 VC's Before Breakfast"; "Gallipoli 1915". We will also have 10 Cider's and Perry's as well as a continental bottle bar. Hot food is also available.
The Festival this year also has a military feel. With St George's Day being a special Regimental Day for the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers and also Gallipoli Day, another of their battle honours which saw six VC's won before breakfast, falling on Sunday 25th. The Fusiliers have sponsored a beer and with so many of them being in town for the weekend it's hoped that they will be there in numbers.

Saturday 1st May; 125 Celebration 'fun day' for match versus Torquay,
Bury v Torquay United on 01 May 2010 is now confirmed as the clubs 125th anniversary game.
The club will be producing a special edition match day programme on the day, which will not only contain a special 16 page pull out anniversary special, but also a complete reprint from a Bury programme from the 1946/47 season.
The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers Corp of Drums (Lancashire) will also be making a welcome return to Gigg Lane to mark the clubs anniversary.
The main event of the day though will be the parade of former players. All players that have represented the club in first team action are invited back to Gigg Lane for this one off special event. We hope to have as many former players at the game as physically possible.
This game will also (hopefully) be the final home game that the club will use the special anniversary kit, and we hope to be in a position to not only celebrate the anniversary - but also the 'p' word!!!!
We also hope to place all match worn shirts from this game on eBay following the game raising funds for the Social Club redevelopment.
Saturday 1st May; Directly after the game, players, staff, directors will move to the social club where there will be some food, Disco, Karaoke, and raffle (including tickets for the Northampton away fixture!).
