"We are reasonably pleased so far, but of course we would like to have won at Wycombe and still be in the Carling Cup. It was pleasant getting a win on the opening day and against a team like MK Dons, and since then we have drawn at home and lost away but in those three games I think we have played alright".

"It was disappointing to come out of the Carling Cup at the first stage, and thought we were a bit unlucky not to take the game in extra time at least. Cups are all about getting the best possible draw, and I think we got one of the worst ones. Carlisle are one of the best teams in their league and their in a higher division".

"The home form isn't a voodoo curse for me because I've only been here a few months and I have only had one home match. The first half performance was disappointing against Grimsby, but the second half performance was excellent and we could take a lot out of it".

"I don't think it was that much of a low against Wycombe. We know that they are reasonably good when playing at home and I thought we could have tried to come away with the draw, but in the end we have conceded a sloppy goal".

"I doubt that we will see any new players coming in before the transfer deadline, whether anyone leaves or not depends on the offers we get between know and midnight. The transfer deadline doesn't cause that much of a problem for us because next week we will still be able to loan players, and there are players who are out of contract at the moment. At the moment we are just focusing on getting the team fit, and the manager is happy with the squad we have so we've just got to focus on getting ready for the next game".

"There were a couple of enquires for Andy Bishop, which isn't surprising when he is a twenty goals a season man. He isn't fully fit at the moment and hasn't really had a chance yet to get into his stride, so they have only been enquires. We just want him back in the squad at the moment and start scoring some goals".
