A team effort
"It's great that the unbeaten run continues though we weren't at the races in the first half. There were a few things said at half time and the lads came out and performed in the second half, you cant ask for much more than that and it's a good point away from home."
"At 2-0 down, you're never out of the game and the third goal was crucial and that's what the manager said to them at half time. He told them that the next goal will win it, unfortunately we didn't get a third, but it's still a good point."
"It was a good advert for league two football, especially the second half when we stopped trying to be too clever and played a little behind them and we were the better team by a million miles."
"We missed Paul Scott and Lee Bullock, they have both been good players for us over the last three or four weeks. It took us a little while to get going today but once we got them in and said what we had to say to them, we looked like we would go on and win the game."
"We looked like a team that hasn't lost in seven, we were very solid defensively, and we tried to play the game in the right way in the right areas of the pitch. I thought we did that well. It's important that we stabilise in the top half of the table, and I've always said then since I first came in, we want to be in the top half and not too far away from the play off positions, we do that and when we get to the second half of the season, we will have a chance."
"That's the aim, we don't want to talk about it too much because in the last couple of seasons we've been on a bad run after Christmas, but I think we are a better squad and from what I can see of it we want to push on."
"It's a better squad, better players, very well organised and very well defensively. Jim Provett was outstanding today. We are still looking to strengthen and we still think we are a little short up front, but today without the two midfield players, we were short in the middle of the park so we know the areas that we need to strengthen."
"We've spoken about Peter Gain, at this moment in time he is out of the team at Peterborough. He is the type of player that we are interested in and I speak to him regularly. He has a cracking left foot on him and he doesn't want to be sat around doing nothing."
"You can't make too much of me being on the bench for the last eight games. It's purely a coincidence and we can put it all down to a good team. It's not for me to say that it's my influence. I am trying to pass things on and hopefully the manager and everyone else takes those things onboard. Everyone is working hard behind the scenes to make this a successful club."
"It doesn't matter who is making it happen, this is a team effort, everyone is working hard to do that and when you are getting results like we are, its easy."
