Bury Football Club - Disabled Supporters Information

Home Supporters

The accessible entrance for home wheelchair users is gate 3.

25 wheelchair user spaces are available in the East Stand and 25 in the South Stand.

Accessible toilets are available in both stands.

Limited parking is available on matchdays.

Away Supporters

The accessible entrance for away wheelchair users is gate 2.

6 wheelchair user spaces are available in the away end (West Stand) with the rest of the visiting support.

In the event of a large away support, accommodation maybe available in other parts of the ground for wheelchair users.

An accessible toilet is located next to the away wheelchair users enclosure.

Although booking in advance is not required, the club asks that any special requirements be brought to our attention before arrival.

Ambulant Supporters
Bury Football Club will strive to provide suitable seating arrangements for ambulant supporters on matchdays, if you have difficulty climbing steps or walking a distance please inform the stewards on arrival.

Visually impaired Supporters
The club provides 6 spaces for visually impaired supporters in the main stand with commentary available.

Definition of Disability/Disabled
The Disability Discrimination Act defines a disabled person as someone who has a physical or mental impairment that has a substantial and long-term adverse effect on his or her ability to carry out normal day-to-day activities.

substantial means neither minor nor trivial

long term means the impairment has lasted or is likely to last for at least 12 months

normal day-to-day activities include things such as mobility, manual dexterity, speech, hearing, seeing and memory
