Sammy McIlroy - Feb 89
Watch 13.10.2003 Bury v Chesterfield at Gigg Lane in February 1989, the score is 1-1 when David Lee lofts a ball into the box, Jamie Hoyland gets a flick to McIlroy who volleys the ball into the back of the net to give the Shakers a 2-1 win.
Liam Robinson - Oct 89
Watch 09.10.2003 October 1989 and Bury are two goals down to Sheffield United at Bramhall Lane. Sammy McIlroy fires a volley that rebounds off the post to Liam Robinson, his goal is not enough to take anything from the game and Bury lose 2-1 to the Blades

Tony Kelly - Apr 94
Watch 25.09.2003 April 1994 and Walsall visit Gigg Lane, and take all three points in a 2-1 win against the Shakers, but not before Tony Kelly smacks in a Shakers Classic Goal. Strangely though, this goal is shown in the history books as an own goal, judge for yourself as Kelly chips the keeper from outside the box, but watch the Walsall player on the line.
Ronnie Mauge - Aug 91
Watch 15.09.2003 August 91 and Hartlepool United arrive at Gigg Lane for the second leg of the First Round League Cup tie a goal ahead. The Shakers fight back bravely but are unable to overturn the first leg score, the game finishes 2-2 with Ronnie Mauge hitting a true Shakers Classic Goal

Jamie Hoyland - Nov 87
Watch 02.09.2003 Another strike from Jamie Hoyland has been added to our Shakers World Classic Goals feature, his goal at Old Trafford is now live On 18 November 1987, the Shakers arrived at Old Trafford for a league Cup fourth round game against Alex Fergusson's Manchester United. The game had originally been drawn at Gigg Lane but for obvious reasons, was switched to Old Trafford. Jamie Hoyland fired the Shakers into a surprise lead, and a shock looked to be on the cards. History will tell us the game finished at 2-1 to the red devils, but it could have been so different
Tony Rigby - May 95
Watch 28.08.2003 The 1995 play off semi final at Gigg Lane, Preston North End are the opposition, the score is 0-0 and nerves are frayed. Suddenly, Tony Rigby collects the ball, he turns, he volleys and ..... Gigg Lane turns into complete madness as Tigger fires the Shakers to Wembley for the play off final. A tru CLASSIC SHAKERS GOAL.....
