Final Two Signatures

Posted on: Thu 05 Jul 2007

Veteran defender Colin Woodthorpe and young Andy Parrish have both put pen to paper this afternoon.

The pair signed their contracts once the first day of pre-season training finished, the final two players to sign contract extensions.

Colin Woodthorpe's signature was the final one of the afternoon, and the 38 year old defender looked as fit as 19 year old Andy Parrish after putting his pen to paper this afternoon.

Colin joined the Shakers in August 2002 and has so far made 162 first team starts for Bury with another eleven starts from the bench.Woody has found the back of the net just once during his time at Gigg Lane, a long range effort at Spotland in the LDV Vans trophy.

Young Andy Parrish meanwhile, suntanned and fresh from his holiday, has made just the 14 starts, with a further six starts coming off the bench.
