Chris Brass has been appointed as the clubs new centre of excellence manager with immediate affect.

Chris left for his summer break knowing that he will return to Gigg Lane, but under orders that he will have to prove his fitness.  At the moment, that still stands, but in the meantime, Brassy has today been appointed as Centre of Excellence manager.

Chris will also be assisting Mike Sheron with the Youth Team.

There will be full reaction from Chris Casper and Chris Brass later on the site today.
