From Conference to Premiership - just a small difference in the quality of opposition for the Shakers second pre-season outing, whilst the Toffee's will be making their first appearance of the summer.
The plethora of trialists that we saw on Tuesday night have now been whittled down to just a handful. Drewe Broughton and Jim Provett will more than likely continue in their starting roles whilst Ahmed Dean may get another chance to impress after a goal scoring evening at Moss Lane on Tuesday.
Andy Bishop and Brian Barry-Murphy remain the only two casualties, though missing this game is more of a preventative issue than injury.
The second half on Tuesday saw two regulars and nine trialists appear, we wont see the same on Saturday. Mainly due to a lack of trialists, but more because the manager wants to see the lads start getting longer than 45 minutes.
There will be changes to the side, but don't expect to see them until the second half.
Everton have said little publicly about the type of side coming to BL9, but various sources have informed the club that a full strength side will be heading down the East Lancs Road for what has now become an annual event.
Last seasons game brought a defeat, but as Chris Casper said many times in the past, you can take a defeat if you have played well, and Bury certainly played well last time out.The result of course doesn't mean a thing, fitness and performance and the key aspects in a game like this.
Bury will play the game in the new away kit, mainly because the home kit hasn't even arrived at Gigg Lane yet, so if you haven't see it yet, get down to Gigg Lane and take a look.
Its Main Stand (Home Fans) and South Stand (Away Fans) only for all the home pre-season games and prices have been set at just £10.00 for adults and £5.00 for all concessions.
