Former Accrington Stanley striker Andrew Mangan has signed a twelve month contract at Gigg Lane

Chris Casper revealed the news after Saturday's game with Everton that Andrew Mangan was about to sign for the club, and the formalities have now been completed.

Speaking after the game, Casper said:  "Andy will join us on Monday, we've agreed terms and all will be completed on Monday.  He can play in any role up front, centrally, wide right or left.  He's affective and he's a good footballer plus he has that pace to take people on.  He's also a good character in the dressing room as well and I'm really pleased that we have him."
