Jack Dorney has been rewarded for his outstanding development over the last 18 months and has signed his first professional contract at the club.

Another product of the clubs youth system, Jack has successfully come through his apprenticeship and has signed a two and a half year contract.

Speaking this afternoon, manager Chris Casper said:"Jack has been rewarded for his efforts and hard work. We've had a lot of clubs showing interest in him over recent months and it was important for us as a football club that we have him tied up for as long as possible."

Casper also broke more news by revealing the following:"We are also in talks with three or four first team players and are looking to tie them down to longer deals with us here at Gigg Lane."
