Bury Football Club would like to thank all supporters that gave there Saturday morning up to come along and shift the snow from the pitch.

Director Iain Mills said this afternoon:"Without the efforts of the many volunteers that answered our plea, the game would not have gone ahead.  Thankfully the referee arrived early and was impressed with the efforts that everybody has put in.  I'd especially like to thank one very young lad by the name of Dylan that turned up, his shovel was bigger than he was, but he played his part.  Thank you all."

The pitch has been passed fit and the game kicks off at 3:00pm as planned.
