Brentford will be the first team to visit Gigg Lane for the 2008/09 Season with the game taking place at Bury on Saturday 09 August.Alan Knill then has a quick return to Saltergate for the first away game of the campaign against Chesterfield on 16 August.

The first local derby game comes on 23 August with Morecambe coming to Gigg Lane before we make the short trip down the road to Spotland and the away game with Rochdale on 30 August.

Our first trip to newly promoted Aldershot Town comes on 04 October whilst the Shot return to Gigg Lane on 24 January.Exeter make the long trip to Gigg Lane on October 11th whilst we head to St James Park on 17 January.

Luton Town are the first of the relegated teams to come to Bury on 25 October, with Gillingham here on 22 November.Port Vale travel to Bury on 13 December though we head into Christmas with a tough away game at Bournemouth on 20 December.

Boxing day is at home to Darlington with a Sunday game away at Shrewsbury Town on 28 December.Wycombe away is the first game of the year though this year it comes on 03 January.

Rochdale come to Gigg Lane on Sat 07 March whilst the final game of the season will see Accrington Stanley provide the opposition, thou8gh this time the game is at Gigg Lane.
