The stepover becomes a shrimp
Former Shaker Andy Parrish has signed for league two side Morecambe on a two year deal. Young Pazza put pen to paper on the deal this evening and joins up with former Bury player Sammy McIlroy at Christie Park.
Known for his 'step over's', Andy will join the Shrimpers in time for pre-season training next week.
20 year old Andy was released by the Shakers at the end of last season after completing 53 appearances for Bury and scoring one goal, a late equalizer against Grimsby Town at Gigg Lane last season.
Speaking exclusively to buryfc.co.uk soon after signing, Andy said he was delighted to have signed the deal with Morecambe and thanked all the Bury fans for the messages of support he had received on the message board and via emails. Andy will have an early return to Gigg Lane when Morecambe come to Bury on 23 August.
All at Gigg Lane wish Andy the very best for the new season and the next stage of his career. Morecambe fans will soon be able to see 'the legendary Andy Parrish stepover for themselves."
