Nicky Adams and his family would like to thank the staff and the management at Gigg Lane for his timne spent with the club.

"My time at Gigg Lane was a happy time for me and all members of my family that have been along to watch the games.I'd like to thank the staff, the management and most of all the supporters who have helped me along with my career whilst I was with Bury FC.

I'd also like to thank the supporters that did throw some nasty comments at me during my time there, if anything, that has helped my career and it has given me the motivation to improve my football.Some of the comments have made me a stronger and better person.

In particular I'd like to thank Neil Hanks, Bert Iannacone and Chris Casper for their help and support in bringing me through to the first team.Also, thanks to Alan Knill who has restored my faith in the game and he has been a massive help to me.I'd also like to thank all the media that cover Bury for their help and advice over the years we had together.

My time at Bury has come to an end and the club will always be very special to me and my family.Thank you everybody who came to watch me, came to shout at me or was involved with my career at Gigg Lane."
