We are pleased to announce the launch of some fantastic new 21st century technology. We have partnered up with XDI-UK and launched Bluetooth technology within the stadium.

Initially for the 3 home pre season friendly games this will be used to send the Team Sheet, including a pen picture direct to everybody who has Bluetooth activated and visibility available on their mobile phone.

As with anything we have to make sure we make some money from this and recoup installation costs so we will also be sending out no more than 4 adverts that WILL be beneficial to supporters. One of which can be used inside the stadium on matchday tomorrow.

We are the first club outside of the premier league to launch with this technology. We have tried and tested to the maximum that we can and the data is being received on staff mobiles, however the ultimate test is on a match day with a crowd in, so please we need as many of you to activate your Bluetooth on your mobile phone so we can get a clear indication of how successful this can be.

We will - as the season goes on - be developing new fantastic ways of using this interactive technology and making it part of your match day experience. For example personalised birthday video messages from your favourite player sent directly to the birthday person's mobile phone will be available from next week.

The only limit with this technology is our own imagination we truly can take it to the next level and be a pioneer for other clubs.
