Michael Twiss will not be coming to Gigg Lane says Shakers gaffer.

Following recent stories in the local and national media, Alan Knill has taken steps to clarify the situation regarding Michael Twiss of Morecambe Football Club.  Speaking to buryfc.co.uk this afternoon, Alan said:-

"I spoke to Sammy Mcilroy because obviously I was on the lookout for a left winger, and Michael (Twiss) can play centre forward as well, and it was just an enquiry really.  I got permission to speak to Michael so we had a chat.  He's a Bury lad and he was all for it, but that was really as far as it went."

"The next thing I know it's all over the internet and on Sky Sports News.  It's not the case, I just enquired to see if he would want to come and if they would let him come, and that's where we are at.  At the moment, it won't be going any further."
