Alan Knill was obviously delighted with the three points on Saturday, but the best news of the day was the capture of Andy Morrell.Read on to see what the gaffer thinks about the capture of Morrell:

"It's a real coup for us," said Knill. "He had plenty of other offers in our division and I think he could have stayed in the Championship but he decided to come to us.

"I met him on Thursday and he believes in what we're trying to do here so we're delighted that a Championship player has come to us.It was fantastic from the board really because I've been after a striker and we thought about a loan, but no, we've signed him, he's our player.

"If any other team in this division had signed Andy Morrell it would have been a decent signing so it's a great effort from the football club and hopefully he'll be what we expect him to be.We were after a bit more competition up front. We were looking at a young striker in the loan market but this one came up and we thought, 'let's try to go for it'.

"And we're signing somebody here, he's a proven goalscorer with a track record that's played at a really good level and still could play at that level but he's chosen to come to us.

"I have to say, it isn't because we've thrown the most money at him - he's come to us because he wants to be part of what we're trying to do here."
