Tribunal Ruling
Following the long awaited tribunal between Leicester City Football Club and Bury Football Club, a decision has this afternoon been made regarding the compensation for Nicky Adams following his move to the Walkers Stadium over the summer.
Bury FC will receive an initial payment of £100,000 with further payments of £25,000 to be paid to the club should Nicky Adams make 15 appearances, the same again after 30 appearances, another £25,000 after 45 appearances.
The tribunal board also decreed that the club should receive an additional payment of £50,000 should Leicester City be promoted back to the Championship.
Also, should Leicester sell Nicky in the future, then the club will receive 15% of any profit in the shape of a sell on clause.
Should Nicky make 45 appearances and the Foxes get promoted, then Bury will receive a total payment of £225,000.
Reaction director Ian Harrop will be available later this afternoon
