The Gigg Issue: Bury v Luton Town

The Shakers match day programme - 'The Gigg Issue' - has gone through a revamp over the summer and is back raring to go for the new season with new features as well as the regular contributors.

David Buchanan features on the cover with our new look 'wall art' whilst inside, the gaffer welcomes everyone to Gigg Lane as well as looking back to the game with Rotherham. Captain Paul Scott also gives us his thoughts in the Captains column.

Martin Ogden's match action images are an essential part of this website, and we've also got action photos from the last two games as well as other images throughout the programme.

All you need to know about Luton Town has been increased to four pages plus we take a statistical look back at previous encounters with the Hatters. We've set aside a page for the reserves and the youth team and these will carry updates from the two sides throughout the season.

Regular contributors Ian McPherson and Tony Cunningham are back with their own views and history of the club whilst programme collectors will be keen to read the article from 'the programme monthly'.

Football historian Leigh Edwards starts a new series of articles featuing the shooting stars from the oppositions history.
