Bennett Stays at Gigg

Wolves' manager Mick McCarthy has agreed to Alan Knill's wishes by letting Elliott Bennett stay at Gigg Lane for the rest of the season.

Speaking to Shakers World this afternoon, manager Alan Knill confirmed the news and said:  "Elliott will sign until the end of the season today, Mick McCarthy is happy for him to stay with us.  It's fantastic from Wolves, they were here last weekend to watch him and are very pleased with his progress and I'm delighted that he will stay with us until the end of the season."

Elliott has started all 24 games thus far this season, scoring one goal at Dagenham & Redbridge in October.His total stats in a Bury shirt so far show 42 games, one as substitute and two goals.
