The first round draw for the Carling Cup will be on The Football League website from 9.30am on Tuesday 16th June.
70 Football League clubs will appear in the first round with Newcastle United and Middlesbrough receiving byes as the highest placed clubs in last season's league tables.
The next 35 clubs in last season's tables (down to Walsall - 13th place in League 1) will be seeded and drawn against the remaining 35 clubs.
