The Shakers Christmas Auction in aid of the Children's Ward at Fairfield Hospital has its first sale.Ryan Lowe's match worn boots were sold just after 11:00am this morning for £72.00.

Three more items will close tonight at around 8:00pm with our three signed calendars set to be sold.Current prices are at £30.50, £24.00 and £26.00.All three items are expected to raise in price before the hammer closes.

The remaining 15 items, all limited edition white shirts will close on Saturday and we expect to be able to announce our final total raised as soon as the shirts are sold - expected to be around 7:45pm on Saturday evening.

However, we won't be releasing the final total until Monday morning when the cheque that will be presented to Fairfield Hospital will be drawn up.
