Stephen Dawson rejects new offer

Bury FC can confirm that 'player of the season' Stephen Dawson has officially rejected further new terms offered to him.

The clubs Directors would like to state that the club have offered Stephen what they consider to be a fantastic deal, but that Stephen believes he can play at a higher level.

As is correct, the club will not be making any further statements regarding this matter, and would like to thank all parties for the professionalism shown during protracted negotiations.
