'Alan Knill played 144 league games for the Shakers, which would not automatically qualify him for 'legendary' status.

However, since his return to Bury as manager, few would argue that he has been instrumental in orchestrating the upturn in the clubs performances and the general 'feel' around the place.

We think Alan is certainly worthy of joining the other 'Legends' whose photographs are up on the walls of the 'Legends Bar'.

We will arrange a photograph of Alan, in his Bury playing days, to be framed and mounted.
