Bury football club would like place on record its gratitude, and a massive 'thank you' to everyone that made Monday evening such a success, both on and off the pitch.

Almost 2000 Rochdale fans made the trip on a cold, wet, damp evening rather than sitting comfortably in front of the TV, contributing to such an incredible atmosphere and amazing turn-out and support from Shakers fans. The Shakers fans support was immense, right from the players warming up, to long after the final whistle, and this support definitely helped lift the team to a crucial victory.

We are sure that everyone who took part in last nights occasion, fans from both teams, SKY sports, the watching public, would also join with us in thanking the 2nd battalion, Royal Regiment of Fusiliers & their Corp of Drums for their participation.
