Posted on: Mon 08 Feb 2010

Striker Tom Elliott is back at Gigg Lane and has taken part in his first full training session with Bury.

Tom originally joined the club on 17 September on loan from Leeds United and went on to make 8 appearances for the club, scoring one goal during the 3-2 win at Crewe Alexandra. However, he collected a Hamstring Injury inside of ten minutes of the home game with Rotherham United on 24 October.

He returned to Elland Road the day after for treatment and after a few minor setbacks in his recovery, Tom arrived back at Gigg Lane this morning in good shape and ready to fight for a place in the side.

Tom's arrival back in Bury further enhances Alan Knill's squad for Tuesday night's re-arranged game with Macclesfield Town
