Seven former players arrived at Gigg Lane on Friday evening in time for the first Bury FC Legends night.

George Jones, Bobby Owen, Jimmy McIlwraith, Peter Farrell, Chris Lucketti, Mark Carter and Lee Bracey answered question from supporters with George Jones & Jimmy McIlwraith especially in fine form.

65 year old George Jones has also agreed to be the Shakers guest for today's game with Dagenham & Redbridge and will be taking part in the half time Golden Gamble draw on the pitch.

The event has been marked as a success and the next Legends night is already being planned.
