Cheesey makes it to Gigg

BBC Radio Manchester's Ian Cheeseman will be cycling around BBC Radio Manchester's nine professional football clubs, starting on Friday morning, Ian - accompanied by Barney Story (a tandem pilot for the Para Olympic Athletes, the pair will leave Macclesfield Town on a tandem cycle.

The fun started at 8:30am this morning when the duo left the Moss Rose and arrived at Gigg Lane at around 12:50.  Ian spent approx 15 minutes resting as well as conducting a live update on BBC Radio Manchester, as well as taking a few pictures for the BBC website, sport relief website etc

Ian is pictured with Efe Sodje, Ryan Lowe, Danny Carlton and Andy Bishop on the pitch at Gigg Lane along with Bury fans Paul & Christine Perry. 

Ian, who arrived a little saddle sore and with something of a John Wayne limp, has now left Bury and is on his way to Bolton Wanderers for the next stage of his tour.
