Club Statement - Port Vale game

Posted on: Thu 15 Apr 2010

We have this morning been informed by Port Vale that they anticipate they could bring 2,500 plus travelling supporters to Gigg Lane on Saturday.

As a result, our Safety Officer has spoken with the police and there are concerns about the situation that could arise should Port Vale supporters be refused admission due to capacity.

On their advice we are allocating the East Stand and the Family Stand to Port Vale and for this game only and our season ticket holders will be asked to relocate.

Bury FC East Stand season ticket holders will move to the West Stand (Manchester Road End - turnstiles 14 to 19) and our Family Stand season ticket holders will move to either the West Stand or Main Stand, Blocks A-D (Turnstiles 12 & 13)

We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause and we also apologise for the late notification but this situation has only just come to light.

This change has been forced upon us at late notice and for that we apologise. This change is for Saturday's game ONLY
