If Bury are to make the play offs then we simply have to win our game at Northampton Town, then hope for results in other games.

Obviously play off qualification is no longer in our own hands, we must rely on a win at Sixfields and other results elsewhere.

The following will get Bury into the play offs:-

Darlington take a point or better at home to Dagenham.

Should Dagenham win at Darlington, then Bury have to rely on Aldershot beating Morecambe at Christie Park. A draw will not help Bury, Aldershot have to win the game.

The matter is further complicated by the fact that Northampton can also claim a play off place, but their permutations are a lot more reliable on other results.

In laymens terms - Darlington must take a point or better and Bury have to win.

The fall back game is Aldershot taking maximum points at Morecambe and Bury winning.

An away win for Dagenham and a draw (or better) for Morecambe will see Bury miss out

It's all eyes on The Darlington Arena and Christie Park on Saturday. Time after time this season we've seen many results go our way - we need it again, but the one condition in all of the above - Bury simply have to win.
