Stephen Dawson has left Gigg Lane and has a agreed a two year deal with Leyton Orient.

A free signing from then relegated Mansfield Town, Stephen went onto play 97 games for Bury, scoring six goals along the way.  Dawson quickly became a fans favourite for his no-nonsense running and tackling, as well as popping up with the odd goal or two.

Infectious to all that know him, Stephen turned down a new deal at Christmas stating that he wished to play at a higher level.

Stephen will be coming into the club next week and will record a final interview before heading off down South to join his new club, though naturally we wish him nothing but the best at Leyton Orient
