Keeper Cameron Belford has extended his stay at Gigg Lane for another season.A 2007 signing after being released by Coventry City, Cameron has found first team opportunities at Gigg Lane something of a rariety - until last season.

His full league debut for the club came some three years after originally signing.A home 3-0 win over Crewe Alexandra was Cameron's first league start at Gigg Lane, though he had made a few fleecing appearances from the bench and in the JPT previously.

In total, Cameron has made eleven appearances and after replacing Wayne Brown int he starting berth toward the end of last season, he has done his claim for the number one shirt no damage whatsoever.Cameron has signed a twelve month contract.

Youth Team players Richie Brannagan and Krishnan Patel have also signed their first professional contracts for the club.
