Alexsis heads home

Posted on: Sat 17 Jul 2010

Alexsis Uruena is on his way back to his Spanish home after his trial at Gigg Lane came to an end.  The former Spanish U19 was told that his trial for the club was at an end following the 1-1 draw with Huddersfield on Saturday afternoon.

Whilst proving popular with supporters during his stay in Bury, language problems and the up and coming talent of several youth team talents as were seen during the game, were behind the decision to let Alexsis go.   Alexsis played three games for the club whilst in Bury and we naturally wish him well for the future.

Speaking through his agent via facebook, Alexsis has stated that he has enjoyed his stay at Gigg Lane and was proud to have worn the shirt whislt with Bury.  Alexsis also told director Mark Catlin that he was very grateful for the opportunity to come over to England and wishes the club the very best of luck for the new season.
