Alan Knill has brought in Leeds United defender Tom Lees on a six months loan from newly promoted Championship side Leeds United.  20 year old Tom can player across the back four at a centre half or at right back.

A product of the Elland Road Youth System, Tom has yet to feature for the first team at Leeds, but does come with some League Two experience having been loaned out last season to Accrington Stanley.

His debut for Stanley came in a 2-1 win over Oldham Athletic in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy on 01 September 2009.Initially a three month loan period soon developed and after some success and more importantly, regular football for Tom, the loan move became a full season loan.  Whilst at Accrington Tom also signed a new two year contract with Leeds.

Tom has featured for Leeds in their pre-season games this summer with game time in Slovakia against MFK Ružomberok and MFK Košice, plus he also came off the bench and played against Bury at Gigg Lane, though it wasn't to be a happy time as Bury won the game 4-0.

In total, Tom has played 46 games in his short career, all for Accrington Stanley
