One bid rejected and interest from abroad for another

Alan Knill spoke to the press following the 1-1 draw with Barnet and confirmed to the media of interest in two players from other clubs.

The Shakers gaffer revealed that the club had rejected a bid from another club for a Bury player.Alan Knill confirmed that the bid did not match his or the board valuation of the player and as such it was rejected.He further stated that they do not expect an increased bid coming back to Gigg Lane.

Knill also confirmed interest from South Africa in Andy Bishop and stated that as far as he was concerned, that's as far as it has gone - interest only and he expects Andy Bishop to complete his remaining 23 months of his contract at Bury.
