JPT 2nd Round Draw

Tuesday night saw this seasons Johnstone's Paint Trophy get underway with 14 games completed and seven teams already eliminated out of the competition.  A further two game take place tonight.

Northampton Town, Tranmere Rovers, Morecambe, Oldham Athletic, Rochdale, Lincoln City and Walsall have already gone from the Northern Section after losing their game on Tuesday evening.  Later on this evening (Wednesday), Sheffield Wednesday or Notts County will also be eliminated.

The draw will for the second round will take place on Saturday morning with those teams that received bye's from the first round entering the competition, Bury included.

The Northern Teams heading into the second round draw are:-

Bradford City, Burton Albion, Bury, Carlisle United, Crewe Alexandra, Huddersfield Town, Peterborough United, Stockport County, Hartlepool United, Accrington Stanley, Macclesfield Town, Shrewsbury Town, Port Vale, Rotherham United, Chesterfield and Sheffield Wednesday or Notts County.

As usual, the draw will take place on Soccer AM on Saturday morning.Full details of the draw will be live here at buryfc.co.uk once known.
