Andy Parrish gives us his reaction following his first appearance in a Shakers shirt during the 2-0 defeat at the hands of Tranmere Rovers

"I think we can consider ourselves unfortunate tonight, the lads put in a great performance again.  There were a few bad decisions from the referee that didn't help us, we didn't think the free kick for the first goal was a free kick."

"We were trying to get an equaliser and they caught us on the break for the second goal.  It was my first start of the season and it's a fantastic honour to walk out there.  I've watched every game so far and I'm just glad that the gaffer and Scotty gave me my chance, I'm really grateful."

"Fitz and Chally talked me through the game, they are both good players, Chally especially does a lot of talking during the game.  Colin Woodthorpe knows his stuff and he's a great pro.  He always takes the time to talk me through a game."

"I've played left back, in the middle and tonight I played right back.  I've been given the chance and I'm happy to play anywhere at the back.  I consider myself to be an out and out centre half, but I will do a job anywhere across the back four."

"You could tell that Chris Greenacre and Chris Shuker had 100's of games between them, they are clever players. You have to put them out of the game early on with the first challenge and keep them quiet from then on."

"I'm hoping to be in the squad for Saturday now.  Hopefully the gaffer will give me a chance on Saturday of he things I've done enough tonight.  The Boston game is a big game, every game at the moment is a big game."
