Striker Glynn Hurst has signed an 18 month contract with the Shakers after completing a very successful three month loan spell at Gigg Lane.

The 30 year old South African born striker arrived at Gigg Lane on 21 September on a months loan from league two rivals Shrewsbury Town and quickly got into goalscoring habits.

His first goal came on his debut for Bury in a 2-2 draw with Barnet at Gigg Lane, Hursty provided both Bury goals during the game and Glynn went onto score in every game during his first month and totalled six goals.

Having now completed his three month loan deal, Glynn has scored 9 goals and will be looking to get into double figures a week on Saturday at struggling Torquay United.
