"I'd like to think that we have done well this pre-season. We have come through unscathed, and even though we have the one injury with Aaron Grundy we are at full strength at the moment, which we are very happy with. It was one of the main aims of pre-season to get through it without any injuries, so we are very happy with the way we have succeeded in that".

"Training today is just about getting ready for tomorrow's game and just sorting out a few bits and pieces, and it looks like its going to be quite a warm day tomorrow so we have to make sure we have enough energy for the game".

"I think that the trialists we had playing against Ramsbottom are improving, and we are going to be keeping an eye on them throughout the season. James Dean did well against Ramsbottom and he deserves his chance. He is a big player who can upset the oppositions defence, and really is something about him with the way he plays".

"We have decided no what the starting eleven will be. It's been a difficult pre-season with the training pitch being flooded at one point and then very hot at another so it has been tough so it has felt like it has been a long pre-season but the lads just want to start the new season and start playing competitive football again".

"I think the way pre-season has gone has helped the team to come through without any injuries. We have been monitoring them all the way and making sure they have everything they need to get to match fitness. They are a great bunch of lads and they are a pleasure to work with, so let's hope they carry the spirit that they have at moment into the new season".

"Andy Bishop is beginning get better at the moment, but obviously he needs to play more games to get back into the swing of things and he has worked really hard with Alan Bent recently so lets hope he is over his injury now".
