"The goals we conceded were disappointing, we got back in it with fifteen minutes to go, plus we had a good one v one with Andy Mangan and Colin Woodthorpe got a great goal with the header.  We were the better team going into that stage of the game, but we conceded two poor goals."

"Andy Mangan brought a new energy to the team when he came on and he gave us a different outlook to our game with his pace and his direct running.  He could have scored with his first touch and we've had a few good one v one's in the last couple of weeks and we've failed to convert them.  Tonight Jack Lester had one and he stuck the ball into the back of the net, that's probably the difference."

"We haven't built on the start we made at MK Dons, we haven't backed it up with anything.  We've had some decent performances and it was a bit scrappy here at Chesterfield, but we said at half time that we were still in the game.  We got the goal back through Colin and you think in the last fifteen minutes, if we can keep it tight we could have taken a point, and that would have been a decent result here.  We set out for all three, but sometimes you can't always win everything and to concede the last two goals was very disappointing."
