"We've had a good positive week, we've kept spirits high and we've carried on working in a certain way.  We have been positive all week and the lads have been great in training.  After 75 minutes last Friday night, there were certain bits and pieces that saw us well in the game, but after we got the goal we should have kicked on from there, but a minute later we were picking the ball out of the back of our net.  We can't afford to switch off at vital times; unfortunately we did that on Friday."

"It's every body's responsibility to switch on and obviously when you are conceding goals, people will look at the defence. You look at everybody and make sure that we are putting pressure on teams in the right areas at the right times. It starts from the front."

"People say that you are at the most vulnerable time when you have just scored.  Obviously we proved that right at Chesterfield. There has to be a real mindset there that when we do get a goal, we batten down the hatches for the next five minutes and then start building the momentum again."

"We are not making excuses and any team that has gone an Andy Bishop in their team would make a big difference, but when it's not firing on all cylinders, then it doesn't quite go to plan.  Bish still isn't quite right, he is playing through the pain barrier at times and it does make a difference because your work starts through your centre forward.  If you have no pivotal point and you have nobody to win your first headers or to get hold of the ball, then it does become a little bit different and difficult."

"We need to manage Bish as well as we can and make sure that he is as fit as possible for Saturday.  He has had one or two little problems, but fair play to the lad, he has put himself out for the team and he's given everything that he's got.  He's had another good positive week this week, he's getting fitter and stronger.  Hopefully come Saturday he will go out and show what he can do."

"He's still not 100%, he's not had a pre-season.  He's worked extremely hard with Alan Bent, he's not carrying any weight, and he's looked after himself.  He's our natural goalscorer and he has been playing through the pain barrier with his knee problem and it's been difficult for him with the hard grounds and coming through his rehab.  He's also suffered with shin splints as well.  People don't know about that but they are always quickly to judge."

"There are a lot of tough games in this division, they are all tough games.  We keep going back to the start we made at MK Dons, we should have beat Grimsby here, and if we had done that, the pressure would have been off a little bit more, unfortunately that didn't happen and we have to make a start again."
