Atmosphere Guaranteed
"I think it was important that we got that millstone from around our necks against Accrington. It wasn't just the players who felt the relief in pressure, I did as well. It was important to prove to people we can win at home, and to prove ourselves. On Tuesday we started the game really positive, and in the first half we were pretty good. In the second half Lincoln got the upper hand a bit, but it was a game we could have won as well, and maybe we should have finished it off in the second half".
"The attitude Ben Futcher had in the post match interview was the attitude that we have to take. We haven't played well in every game, and like I've said in the Grimsby and Brentford games we only got one point when we should have got six, and people have to look at that and think what goes around comes around. Maybe we didn't play all that well on Tuesday night, but we got something out pf the game, and it's important you take as many points as you can even when your not playing well".
"Lee Bullock has come in from Hartlepool, and I am really pleased with the singing. He's going to give us good strength and good character. Looking at the squad we have quite a few who are close to suspension, and if we end up with a few injuries the team will be picking itself. We needed that competition in there, and Lee is gong to provide that. He is a really good quality players, and he is a good addition to the squad. At the moment it's just a month loan, but we'll have to wait and see. He's played with Chris Brass before at York, so I'm really glad we have brought him in".
"Whether your in the youth team or the first team derby games are always very passionate, and they always have a bit of an edge to them. I remember last year two and a half thousand fans there, and they made themselves sound like twenty two thousand. It was a great atmosphere, and a great game of football, and we are looking to reproduce that on Saturday. If we can reproduce the from we had there last year, I would be well happy with that. It's going to be a tough game and we know that. They have some good players, but we are on the back of three games unbeaten and it's important we take something from the game tomorrow".
"The fact that we haven't lost there since 93 means nothing. It's a game of football, and we will go in there confident and on the back of three good results and it's all about what we do on the day. There's going to be a good atmosphere and it will be a great occasion".
"It all about confidence and consistency in the lads, and the belief is there".
