"Hursty usually goes on a run of scoring goals after a dry spell.  It's something we are going to have to look at and it's given me a good dilemma.  We now have Hursty scoring, Mangy scoring, Nicky scoring, Rouse scoring.  Nicky needed a goal on the night to top off an excellent performance; it was a very mature performance from him.  It was everything you want, his first touch was at people, he attacked people, his defending was very good and it was a superb all round display form him."

"We are three results from Wembley now, I said that to the lads before the game.  Everybody wants to play at Wembley in their career and we have an opportunity to do that now.  It was important that we carried on with that winning attitude and mentality, but you could see by their reaction and the way that we came out in the second half that we weren't feeling sorry for ourselves.  Hursty's first goal was excellent, typical Glynn Hurst in the way he got across people and then he got a typical Glynn Hurst goal from another cross with the header."
