"It was getting a little bit scary with fifteen minutes to go and the score was at one all, Workington had just scored and they had their tails up, but the lads showed great character.  We know that we haven't played the best, we also had two or three injuries and a few couldn't play because of this that and the other, so we were stretched a little bit."

"We were quite a young team today and I had no problem playing that.  I didn't disrespect Workington or anything like that, but the lads have come through it and they have learnt a lot about themselves."

"For the second round, we want a good draw where we have a good chance of getting through, we want to get to the third round and play somebody decent to give the fans somewhere to go an enjoy themselves, just like the Workington fans have done today.  It was their cup final today and they made a lot of noise and helped to create a great atmosphere.
