Not Happy
"I'm very disappointed and I probably won't be saying much, I don't think it's time to really give a fair and honest opinion on it. I will take the time to reflect and look back, but my first instinct is to say that is was very disappointing."
"I will get myself together and compose myself, and I will do that, it's not a problem and its part of the job, but I will react to it accordingly because I have a decent squad and a big squad that I can change things around for Saturday."
"We had a couple of good opportunities to score, Paul Scott with the header and then again about two minutes later but I think he might have been offside anyway, but we were getting that momentum going when they scored."
"The clearance came when we tried to play a through ball through their defence, it was one big clearance that has caught in the breeze and gone over Jim's head, but how many times have we stood here commenting on Jim Provett about how good he's been and how good his performances have been, so the last thing I am going to do is blame Jim Provett."
"Jim's held his hand up, he's a professional and now he has to move on. There is no point in me pointing a finger at him or anyone else. What's done is done and we have to learn from it."
"A keeper will have something like that happen maybe once or twice in your career, unfortunately, its cost us but Jim has put enough in the bank for us to earn that one."
"We had to go for it at the end and we threw Ben Futcher up there as well, but even then, we didn't do it quite right and we didn't get it into the danger area. I suppose you could say we were guilty of trying of over playing it too much, but we will learn from it and move on."
"The players are not happy and I'm not happy, they are disappointed and they know that they have underachieved tonight, but we are not happy because we've lost our third game in seventeen games. It's not a disaster, we will take it on the chin and we have to bounce back. It's not the end of the world but the disappointing thing was that it was a winnable game for us and we haven't performed how we expected to perform."
"We brought player such as Sean McAllister and Tom Sharpe in for a purpose, and that was to come here and play, so whatever way that we are going to go on Saturday, there are going to be one or two tough decisions to make, but I will make them. I don't have a problem with that. With the size of the squad and the amount of games we have coming up, we will freshen it up a little bit."
"It's gone now and it's about getting the balance right, now we go to Mansfield and it's about beating Mansfield."
