"The big thing to come out of Tuesday night was disappointment.  It was very disappointing with the run that we have been on with four wins out of five, and to not perform to how we know we are capable of was disappointing."

"I'm disappointed personally because I put the team out, disappointing because the players didn't perform on the night and disappointed for the fans because we didn't put on a show for them as we have been doing recently.  Criticism comes out way after one defeat in eight at home and we have to take that on the chin.  It wasn't a great performance and there is no point in trying to dress it up any other way."

"The big thing now is that we have to bounce back and we have a chance to do that at Mansfield on Saturday."

"We started slowly for whatever reason, both teams were a big cagey for whatever reason, but we did start to get a good foothold in the game.  Paul Scott missed a good chance and we got a bit of momentum going.  We were keeping the ball, we had a bit of possession and we were keeping them out.  The disappointing thing is that they never carved us open or scored from a set piece or something that you can put your finger on.  It was one long clearance that bounced over the head of Jim and it's in the back of the net."

"I can explain the goal as much as possible, it was a mistake - and people make mistakes.  It did knock us when we had a bit of momentum going towards the end, but it was disappointing that it just wasn't right on the night, for whatever reason."

"It's disappointing and frustrating after the run we've had at home.  It's frustrating that I know the lads that went out there have been out there this season and have put performances on. It's also disappointing that we didn't get a result or put a performance on, but that's gone now.  Its 46 games and you react to every game accordingly.  The team that we put out tomorrow will react to the situation that we are in."

"We need to get a result at Mansfield and whatever team that we go with will reflect that.  It's a confidence thing and confidence is still high, belief is still there, we are bubbling along and the lads' spirits is still there and we have to put a performance on Saturday."

"We can put this right on the training ground - or when you can get on the training ground.  Thankfully we have a good relationship with Salford University and we used their Astroturf on Thursday, plus we have worked again this morning.  It's my responsibility and the player's responsibility to put it right."

"I mentioned freshening things up on Tuesday and that still applies.  The team that plays at Mansfield will be the team that I think will win the game.  Fortunately we have a strong squad with few injuries and that gives me the option to do that."

"There are no easy games in this division, apart from the teams that blow us all away with their budgets. The rest of us are on an even keel.  I watched Mansfield on Wednesday and I was quite impressed with what I saw.  They are lively.  The two Bouldings up front have good movement; they have some very good players such as Hamshaw, Dawson and Bell.Good attacking players and defenders.  But we know we have good players as well and we have good options.  It's an even keeled game and we are confident of winning the game."
