A Scandalous decision
"We should have killed them off before half time, and I said that to the lads at half time, but in all fairness, at least their goal came right at the end of the first half and that gave us the chance to finish the game off in the second half, plus I am in absolutely no doubt that if Andy Bishop had stayed on the pitch we would have gone on to at least not lose the game or even won the game - I thought it was a scandalous decision."
"I thought the first yellow card was very harsh and for the second one - maybe it was a forwards tackle, but the noise he made was from the lad kicking Bish, not the other way round, I was only ten to 15 yards away and it was another scandalous decision by the referee."
"We were so dominant in the first half and even when we went down to ten men, I still thought they wouldn't break us down.I fancied us on hitting them on the break and getting something from the game, but to not get something out of the game again is a travesty for us after we worked unbelievably hard."
"When you're down to ten men, you expect to be put under pressure. They had two wide men in Ellison and Partridge but they didn't bother us at all, they got past us once and that was when they scored. You expect pressure but I don't think that pressure ever came, in the end it was a cross.Colin is disappointed that he was beaten at the far post, but that's Colin's professionalism coming out."
"It was another excellent performance from Colin Woodthorpe.Partridge and Ellison couldn't wait to swap wings and get away from him, but when they did swap, Andy Parrish on the other side just sent them back."
"I cannot fault the lads, you know me, and I'll be the first to admit when we don't perform well, but I can't fault the lads for their efforts, their work rate and their attitude."
"It's been a strange couple of games and we got done for the Hereford game and there's been some things said by the referee that I'm really not happy about.I can't really say what it was but it was in the report.I'm not going to criticise the guy publicly but some of the decisions and some of the things that were said I am really not happy about."
"I like to think that I am honest enough to hold my hands up and acknowledge a bad performance, but I can't do that, I cannot fault the lads for their performance. It's as honest as I can be, there was only one team going to win it until the sending off, and that's killed the game off for us."
"I'm hoping that Chally will be back for the Chesterfield game and obviously we will miss Bish for a game.I think it will be the Dagenham game but we will have to check.Andy was excellent today and he scored a great goal and created problems for them."
